Profil

I am a PhD student in neuroscience focusing on Parkinson’s disease, neuroinflammation, and vagus nerve stimulation. My work investigates how inflammatory processes shape disease progression and evaluates potential therapeutic strategies using experimental models.

Forskning

I study how brain inflammation contributes to Parkinson’s disease and whether reducing it can slow disease progression. Using electrical nerve stimulation, experimental models, and data analysis, I aim to identify therapeutic targets that could benefit patients in the future.

Arbejdsområder

I work with in-vivo models of Parkinson’s disease to study disease mechanisms and possible therapies. My tasks include surgical procedures, immunological and histological analysis, behavioural testing, and data evaluation to identify therapeutic effects.
