Once we have received and discussed your project with you, we can find time slots for booking the CyTOF service.
Especially, Long-term longitudinal experiments should be discussed in advance to guarantee availability of the instrument.

For SMC: Time for sample acquisition will be calculated based on your project details, number of cells to be measured and number of samples. As a rule, 1 million cells can be acquired per hour. However, depending of your samples, “sample clogging” may increase this time substantially.

For IMC:  Ablation of 1mm² takes about 2hours (at 200Hz).

Please place your service request as soon as possible, at least 5 working days in advance. The response time is generally within 24 hours.

Cancellation fees:

• 72 hours before the booking: free of charge.
• 24-72 hours before the booking: 50% of the fee will be charged.
• 24 hours before the booking: 100 % of the fee will be charged.

Getting ready for mass cytometry

If you are new to mass cytometry and are thinking to use mass cytometry in your study, it is recommended to have an upfront meeting with the MCU-team in order to discuss feasability/usability of suspension mass cytometry as a tool for your experiment(s).

In that meeting the subsequent steps will be discussed.
