At the Macrophage Biology Lab we are fortunate to welcome two new students.

Caroline Unbehaun is a research year student who will be working on the project: Are LYVE-1 expressing peritoneal cavity macrophages friend or foe in ovarian cancer? She will be investigating tissue from ovarian cancer patients from AUH.

Magnus Enevoldsen is studying Molecular Medicine and will write his master thesis in our lab, working on Immunosuppresive Tumor-Associated Macrophages.

The committee consisted of:

  • Chair and moderator of the defense: David Olagnier, Associate Professor, Aarhus University.
  • Professor Jo van Ginderachter, Cellular and Molecular Immunology Lab, Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
