Project-financed collaboration

Partner with us to co-develop and fund a shared research project with integrated scientific support and joint outputs.

Best for:

Research partners seeking deeper scientific engagement, co-development, and shared responsibility for project outcomes.

How it works:

  • Collaborative project design: We help shape the scientific aims, methods, and work plan. When appropriate, we can join as co-applicants on competitive proposals.
  • Shared research effort: Options include a joint PhD/postdoc, embedded training/hosting periods, and access to our infrastructure.
  • Integrated budgeting: Project budgets typically cover personnel, instrument time, and consumables, enabling multi-year or multi-phase work.
  • Scholarly contribution model: Publication credit aligns with standard conventions—recognition is proportional to scientific and experimental contributions.
  • Cost-sharing clarity: Partners cover consumables and a share of personnel time, with the scope agreed upon up front.

How a collaboration works:

  1. Initial consult (30–45 min): aims, samples, biology, timeline.
  2. Co‑design: experimental plan, QC, controls, and analysis plan.
  3. Agreement: roles, publication credit expectations, budget, and timelines (MoU or letter).
  4. Execution: sample prep → LC–MS/MS → analysis → iterations.
  5. Delivery: RAW + processed reports, summary, and manuscript-support materials.
