At CiViA we strive to improve the skills of junior staff, and have a strong focus on preparing people for their next career stages, irrespective of it being academia, pharmaceutical industry, or the clinical sector. Therefore, we invest effort and time in the development of skills in grant writing, manuscript writing, and oral presentations (including both local training and access to leading online platforms). The career development program also focuses on internationalization and network-building, and CiViA therefore offers travel grants to staff presenting at international meetings and conferences, and offers financial support for exchange visits of CiViA staff to external groups.
