Several sectors will contribute considerably to the training of the Doctoral Candidates (DCs). We have several non-academic associated partners who will play a role in the various training activities. SMEs in the fields of personalised healthcare and social design offer rotations and consultations. Getting in touch with pharmaceutical companies and biomedical start-ups allow for DCs to experience the commercialization of scientific insights firsthand through site visits and rotations. We further involve several patient organisations which let the DCs gain necessary insights into the patient perspective and into patient advocacy. We also include key players at regulatory bodies in order to allow for our DCs to learn about policies and hurdles involved with the regulation of medicine. 

The associated partners are invited to speak at monthly meetings and summer schools and provide tailored learning experiences based on DCs' own interests and learning goals.
