Dr. Porpiglia is invited to speak at the Multiplex Single-Cell Proteomic Technologies Symposium in San Francisco, USA (June 2024), in connection with the launch of the book “Revealing Uncharted Biology with Single Intact Cells” to which she contributed a chapter, “Novel Single-Cell Technologies Advance Our Mechanistic Understanding of Muscle Stem Cell Function in Skeletal Muscle Regeneration” (Elsevier). Dr. Porpiglia highlighted how single-cell mass cytometry has enabled her to identify rare stem cell subsets in skeletal muscle and uncover new biology in the field of regenerative medicine with the potential to develop novel therapeutic strategies for sarcopenia and muscle diseases.
