The facility has a 6-laser Bigfoot sorter in a biosafety cabinet and as much as six different cell populations can be sorted simultaneously, and cells can either be sorted onto slides, into tubes (0.2-50 ml) or plates (6-1536 wells). In addition, the facility has a 4-laser FACSAriaIII, an ID7000, four NovoCyte instruments and and ImageStreamX Mark II.
The staff is highly experienced in flow cytometry and is ready to give advice setting up protocols and analysing data.
The FACS Core Facility was in 2022 among the first 8 core facilities worldwide to receive the highest international recognition from the International Society for Advancement in Cytometry.
