I am a Biomedical Laboratory Science student and Lab Assistant working within molecular cardiology, with a particular interest in sex differences in Dilated Cardiomyopathy (DCM). I have a background in biomedical laboratory science and experience with molecular and cellular biology techniques.
My primary area of responsibility is supporting molecular cardiology research within the labs of Dr. Robert Johnson and Associate Professor Stephan Lange. My work includes cell culture and laboratory techniques such as western blotting, PCR, gel electrophoresis and confocal microscopy. I also assist with mouse dissection and organ harvesting.
