As a PhD student, I conduct research mainly within the fields of gene editing, gene modulation and gene therapy, focusing on the delivery and function of the protein tools responsible. In my work, I am mainly focused on how cells interact with and respond to the delivery and actions of these proteins.
I have a masters degree in Molecular Biolgy and have experience within the fields of cell biology, genetics and virology.
My primary area of responsibility is within gene engineering including gene therapy, gene modulation and viral/virus-derived delivery of proteins and nucleic acids. I also contribute to work within gene variant research, cell microscopy and FACS/flow cytometry.
