I am a physician currently undergoing specialist training in Internal Medicine: Endocrinology. I have a particular interest in the treatment of late complications of diabetes, primarily within the cardiovascular system.

I have worked with randomized clinical drug trials and advanced diagnostic imaging. My research focuses primarily on the mechanisms underlying the organ-protective effects of diabetes medications using advanced imaging techniques. The goal is to improve the prevention and treatment of people with diabetes.

I conduct research in diabetes with a special focus on late diabetic complications. Using beetle diagnostic methods, my goal is to investigate the mechanisms behind the diseases. My research contributes to persons with diabetes achieving better protection against and treatment of late diabetic complications.
