Paul is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Clinical Medicine, Aarhus University, with a background in Biotechnology. He obtained his PhD in Bioscience from Aarhus University in 2020. His research focusses on understanding the cellular and molecular interactions that drive prostate cancer aggressiveness.
Paul researches prostate cancer, with a special focus on genomics, transcriptomics, and the tumor microbiome. He employs advanced spatial and single-cell techniques to map the tumor microenvironment, to identify molecular and cellular interactions that may influence cancer progression. By integrating multi-omic approaches, he seeks to uncover novel biomarkers and therapeutic targets that enhance patient outcomes in prostate cancer
My primary responsibility is research and student supervision.
