As a laboratory animal technician, I work with animals used in research. I am responsible for their care and supervision, ensuring their welfare and adherence to best practices in handling. I also guide and support researchers in conducting studies in the most effective way possible. I have experience in breeding laboratory animals and performing procedures such as dosing and injections (IV, SC, IP, IM), blood sampling, weighing and measuring and providing support during surgery.
