Many of our protocols require animal anesthesia.

In case you need help with preliminary planning of anesthesia for your animals, do not hesitate to contact us on phenotyping@biomed.au.dk - we are happy to help!

Be aware of regulations in the use of isoflurane at the animal facility:  

• Every user purchases his or her own expected amount of isoflurane before use from the Animal Facility staff.
• Isoflurane bottles are stored at the animal facility.
• No amount is readily available in the anesthesia carts - you will need to fill up in preparation for each experiment.
