Single cells or tissue samples are stained with metal conjugated antibodies.

Ablated from the slide (Imaging mass cytometry - IMC) with Hyperion unit or directly injected into the Helios (Suspension mass cytometry - SMC).

With IMC, the spatial information is also reserved, and resolution is 1 µm.
