The Animal Facility staff can assist with a wide range of procedures, from collecting biopsies for genotyping to performing oral gavage, intravenous injections and blood sampling.

Collection of biopsies for genotyping
We prioritize minimally invasive sampling for genotyping and therefore use surplus tissue from earmarking whenever possible. The Animal Facility collaborates with TransnetYX, a provider of automated genotyping. If you wish to outsource genotyping, our breeding consultant, Karina Vestergaard Nielsen, can guide you through the setup with TransnetYX. For inquiries, please contact her at karinavn@biomed.au.dk.
