Vanessa Sancho-Shimizu
We are a group of researchers interested in understanding the genetic basis of life-threatening infections based in Imperial College London. We interrogate clinical phenotypes using next generation sequencing, patient based functional assays including primary cells, iPSC derived neurons, cerebral organoid and airway models to discover inborn errors of immunity. Within UNDINE, we will co-lead on investigating the human genetics and immunology of MIS-C/A and pernio in work package 6.
