Aarhus University acts as the project coordinator of UNDINE. Apart from management tasks, our research group at the Department of Biomedicine is co-leading work package 4 and further contributes to work package 5. Our expertise will be deployed to search for genetic variants underlying critical COVID-19 pneumonia and to investigate the presence and the neutralizing activity of auto-antibodies against type I interferons (IFNs) and other cytokines and their link to the various SARS-CoV-2 disease manifestations.
