Inserm is the only public research organization in France entirely dedicated to human health. Its objective is to promote the health of all by advancing knowledge about life and disease, treatment innovation, and public health research.

Our group consists of 6 teams based on different Inserm units in France: U1163 Institut IMAGINE, U1151 INEM (Institut Necker for Sick Children), U1135 CIMI (Center for Immunology and Infectious Diseases); U1137 Bichat Hospital), U7212 ( St Louis Hospoital) and U1111(Hospices Civils de Lyon).

Our research mainly focuses on the determination of genetic basis of predisposition or resistance to infectious diseases in humans and their immunological impact.

Within UNDINE we will lead work packages 4, 5 and 6. We will study the Human genetics and immunity to critical COVID 19 Pneumonia and MISC/A pernio and well as the cytokine autoantibodies in the pathogenesis of COVID-19.
